Where have all the music idols gone? Not the aspiring "Idols" on FOX every week, but the established superstars of music--what is happening to them? It seems that increasingly they are turning away from life on the road and towards underage children's bedrooms or to dark places on the Internet. Their transition from the music scene to the court of public opinion has left some gaps that people are having dificulty filling. A musician who may know what some of these superstars are feeling, Gary Glitter, has composed a song to help the Legal Defense Fund of his fellow musicians. Cultureshark presents the lyrics to the tune (which is based on Dion's "Abraham, Martin, and John"). In coming days we expect to hear an official announcement that a music video, to be directed by Roman Polanski, will debut simultaneously on MTV, BET, VH-1, and Nickolodeon. IMPORTANT NOTE: Cultureshark is running these lyrics for their news value and not because we endorse any illegal activity these artists may have engaged in.We also don't condone: That Lifehouse project | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
